Multiplying colors with layered texture

- In the last two movies, we created a ramp and a noise texture. Now we're going to combine those and multiply them together in order to vary the width and character of the ramp lines. I've got the Arnold Interactive Production Rendering running and we can connect ink ramp out color to the surface shader out color, that's our ramp. And we can connect the noise out color to that surface shader input. And that of course is our noise effect. We just want to multiply these together and we could use a simple multiply node for that. I'm going to choose to use a layered texture and the reason is I also want to multiply these with a third element, which is going to be the surface luminance and the layer texture just makes it easy to do that. So let's create our layered texture, click in the hyper shade graph, press the tab key type in L-A-Y and choose layered texture. Connect it's out color to the out color of the surface…
