- [Instructor] Now I'd like to streamline the Hypershade in order to maximize efficiency, both in the workflow for the user and for the performance of the workstation. Currently, I've got a pretty low resolution desktop for the screen capture. And under these conditions, I've got very little screen area for the actual graph. I'm going to need to close up some of these other panels in order to make some space for the Graph. And additionally, that's actually going to help my workflow and performance. Let's start with this Material Viewer. If you select any node, then you'll see a preview of that material. But by default, that's going to be rendered in the Hardware 2.0 or Viewport 2.0 hardware renderer. We could switch the renderer over to our production render, which is Arnold in this case. But that could actually cause more problems than it solves because the Material Viewer will not be able to update if you running Arnold in…
