Override shading attributes

- [Instructor] Render setup, when combined with overrides, can be used to change almost any attribute in Maya. So let's take a look at how to change some basic shading attributes using render setup and overrides. So let's go ahead and open our render setup window. And I'm going to arrange my screen here so we can see everything. And in this scene we have two layers. We have the default layer, which we're on, and then we have what's called layer A. Now, layer A is almost identical to the original, except the barrels are moved using an override. So let's go ahead and add in an override to change a material. Now, in this scene I have these hoses. And let's go ahead and change the material on those. So the first thing I need to do is create another collection. So I'm going to go ahead and do create collection. Let's just call this hoses. And then in our outliner I'm going to middle-click the hoses and drag them into this…
