Putting on the final polish with glinting highlights and glow
In our post effects, a little glow goes a long way. We don't want the entire image to glow, but rather just the brightest parts. I've got my depth of field on and I may push my color just a little bit more so that my glow really shows up nicely, because glow is based on luminance, we need to make sure we have that really nailed before putting the glow in. I'll select my adjustment layer and in the Effect controls, roll up the camera lens blur. I don't need the UI, but I just simply need to apply. Now I'm going to put in some color correction. I'll choose Effect>Synthetic Aperture>Color Finesse. My Color Finesse has some really powerful color correction, and I'll use this for finally pushing the color around. I'll open up the simplified interface, scroll down, and go into the HSL section. What I'm going to do in here is take the master gamma up. I'll push this up just a little bit to go brighter overall.
