- [Instructor] So we wanna start texturing our walls in Photoshop. So let's jump into Photoshop and get started. So we need something to start with. We're not gonna just texture this wall from scratch. We're actually gonna do some photo manipulation as our base layers. So let's open up what we can start with here. So let's go to file open. I have a set of images that we're gonna use to texture our walls and our floor. So we're gonna open up brick start and kind of just take a look at the image from the beginning. First whenever I start with these types of textures, I wanna make sure that my base textures are cleaned up as much as possible and are ready to actually be used as a base for the rest of my color, or bump, or spec. So looking at these bricks, the first thing I wanna know, especially with something that's very vertical and horizontal, is is there any lens distortion that I might need to get rid of?
