Renaming objects
- We've cleaned up the geometry so that it will render correctly. Now let's rename all of the objects to make it easier for us to work in this scene. And we'll do that all from the outliner. I've got to minimize so let's open up the outliner. And we've got a group node and inside that are all of the pieces of geometry. And currently none of them are named in any way that's helpful to us. You want to rename all of these. Starting from the group node. Double click on that group node and just rename it, Robot underscore group. Then we'll want to go to go around to each object and rename it individually, starting from the bottom here. Select the base object here, and rename it base. Then the next object up here is going to be the first axis of rotation. Let's call that axis one. Double click and rename it axis underscore one. And it's got a motor to drive those rotations, so let's rename that axis one motor. The…
