Rendering components of light groups
- [Lecturer] We've seen how to render out AOV render passes for individual components of a material shader. We've also seen how to save out AOVs for light groups. Now we're going to combine those two techniques, and create AOVs for each shading component per light group. And this will give us the greatest amount of freedom in compositing in post. There's one little snag with the AOV system, which is an AOV name cannot be longer than 29 characters. And because of that, I'm going to have to change the light group name for the sky dome light. I'll select that sky dome, go to its attributes, CTRL + A and scroll down into the visibility section, and just change the AOV light group to "skydome", without the underscore and the "light", and press Enter. And now it'll be able to fit into that 29 character limit. I can close the attribute editor. Let's go into the render settings dialogue, and we want to change the file…
