Rendering a hero pass
- [Narrator] Now let's get into rendering. You should have your lighting pretty much in place. And when you do, you can render what's called the hero shot. Now, this is the base image from which we will create our final image. And it's basically just a render of the scene. Now, I've already rendered out a version of this, and we can take a look at that. And so, this is basically going to be my hero image. It's not the final image, but it's close enough so we can tweak it. Now, when you set up your final image, you will need to set up your render settings. So I'm going to go into my render settings window here, and we want to go into our common tab and we want to set our resolution to our final resolution here. I'm going to do HD 1080 so I can have a 1920 by 1080 image. Then we need to hop over to the Arnold tab. And we want to basically just bump up our sampling.
