Scene overview

- [Instructor] Let's get started by just taking a quick overview of the scene we are about to render. So this is an architectural scene and as you can see we've got basically a house and then some trees. Now the trees are basically just flats, they're mapped onto NURBS planes. And so basically this will give us a good impression of a tree. If you want more realistic trees you can certainly add them. Now the scene itself is organized in the outliner into one big group. So I have this group here called house group. If I open it up, I have a bunch of subgroups for things such as the roof and the foundation and the furniture and so on. Now I also have a number of layers here. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to set all of these to R, and that'll make sure that you don't accidentally select them. Because we're going to be working with a lot of lights and cameras. And we really don't need to move anything…
