Set up lights in 3ds Max
- [Narrator] Now that we have a camera in the scene, let's go ahead and light our scene so that we can do a final rendering. So I'm going to add a couple of lights. Now lights, again, can be created through the create menu, we have a lights menu here. We also can create it using the create panel. Now I'm going to do it this way because this is the easiest way to get to Arnold lights. So we have photometric, standard, and Arnold. You may have more than this depending upon the Render you have installed. So we're going to create an Arnold byte, but before I do that I'm going to hop out to a four view and go ahead and just click the bottom right-hand side. So we're going to create this in the top view just like we did with the camera. Now I'm going to create an Arnold light.
