Set up lights in Cinema 4D

- [Man] Now let's move into rendering. I've already textured and positioned the rest of the characters, as well as added a background. We're now ready to render. Now rendering requires that we have lights and cameras, just like we have in photography. So let's go ahead and start with lights in Cinema 4D. We can create lights in one of two places. We have the Create menu and if you scroll down to Light, you'll see we have a number of different types of lights. We also have a light panel here, and this allows us to add any number of lights. So let's go ahead and start off with a very simple light, and that is a Spotlight. If I left-click on this, you'll see that we get this spotlight in our scene, and you have it right here as well. So if I select this in the object manager and go to Basic, you can see we have a light. If we want to, we can rename that to spotlight to make it a little bit more descriptive. Now I'm going…
