From the course: Advanced Mechanics in CG Animation
What you should know before watching
- [Instructor] This course assumes that you have a solid knowledge of how to use Maya, or Blender, and are comfortable animating in both, or in your own preferred software of choice. You'll need to know basic concepts like 3D animation, the principles of animation, and understand terms like key frames, view ports, and constraints. In chapter two, we'll jump between both Maya, and Blender, showing you which tools to use for both, depending on the circumstance. However, when we get to chapter three, we'll focus more on animation technique and less on tools. If you're not comfortable with advanced animation at this point, I recommend you check out another course that I made called the 12 Principles of Animation for CG Animators. Alright, now let's get started.
