- [Instructor] So we wanna start painting the textures in Photoshop of our wood floor. So I have our WoodFloor.jpeg image up from our references folder and we just wanna take a quick look at what we're actually seeing with this particular wood grain. So you can see that the wood grain is predominate and it is stained as well with a darker stain. So we are gonna need to be able to pull that particular color palette into our final textures. The last bit of it, we'll look at our Chair.jpeg, is we are gonna also need to be able to add the darkening near the walls. So we're gonna have to figure that out with the UV map that we had created for all of our wood planks. So let's open up Maya here and I just wanna grab all of our FloorBoards and open up the UV Editor. So you can see that again, we just took each one of those boards, unfolded them, and then randomly kept all of their texel density the same, but randomly placed them through the UV area between zero and one.
