- [Narrator] Audiences are particularly sensitive to changes in your audio. And I haven't touched on adding audio transitions yet because I wanted to give it its own attention. I'm going to de-select video one. So, I just have my audio one track selected in this sequence. And I'm going to add an in-point and an outpoint that covers a range of edits. And now I'm going to click on the quick transition button. This doesn't give me the option to add what would be referred to as a crossfade, which, of course, is the audio equivalent to a dissolve. And that's because in avid terms, a dissolve is fine. It works just the same way and will effectively apply a crossfade to your audio. It's quite common where there's a hard cut for your audio for there to be a little bit of a sound like a tap or a loud crack sound just as the wave form passes over the zero point. It's a limitation in the way that audio is captured by microphones…
