Add a burned-in timecode
- [Voiceover] Now that we have some bars and tone in our sequence, let's burn in some timecode for our review copy. I'm going to right-click on the timeline and choose new video track. I'm going to add one more. Turn off my video three track. And then up in my effects palette, I've already searched for timecode and I'm going to drag and drop the timecode burn-in effect onto this new track. Turn on monitoring for that. And maybe just jump ahead to partway through our sequence. So we can see the result. I'm going to go to my effect mode and into the effect editor. We've got quite a few options here but you'll probably find if you work your way down this list, you workout what they do pretty quickly. I'm just going to flatten these controls, first of all. So you can see the default display. Right away I've got up to four displays of timecode that I can have. And just the first one is enabled.
