- [Instructor] For this tutorial, I'm working with a new project called working with markers. I've got it selected in the select project window and I'm clicking okay. This project has a more advanced version of the sequence we have been developing. Several of the clips have been incorporated into a rough cut for our sequence. I want to add some markers to this sequence to make it easier to navigate and locate content later. And I want to explain how markers work in media composer. First of all, a marker is essentially a colored mark that's added, simply to help you remember something in the interface. Here for example, I've got a shot open. This is from the scene six spin, and it's the clip called 6392, and at the bottom of the source monitor, I'm going to click the add marker button.
