Adding edits
- [Instructor] There are going to be times when you're working with clips in a sequence that you'll want to split one clip into multiple parts, and the way to do that is to begin by positioning the playhead. Let's say we wanted to split this 7_33_2 clip, and choosing the tracks and then clicking this Add Edit button. So I'll click Add Edit now, and then I'll move my playhead out of the way. And you can see what's happened. We've got an edit added to these two clips. Nothing has happened to the Video Two track because it's switched off, and we've also got an edit applied to the Audio Two track. Although there's nothing on it, of course, it has filler, and there's a few things you could do with a join like that in the filler. Now that I've added this edit, I can select these parts of the clip separately and work on them independently in the sequence. I'm just going to undo that and show you a faster way. The keyboard is…
