- [Narrator] When viewing inside a nest in the timeline window either by stepping in or by double-clicking on a clip segment, you're not just viewing them. These really are the clip segments, which means you can edit them and make changes to them in exactly the same way that you might do at any other time, while in the timeline window, for example, right now I'm looking at this color effect and let's have made it very bright and maybe I feel like I've just really messed up the color and I've just ruined the effect and I want to start again. One way to do that would be to go to my image category in my Effects Palette and find that color effect and just drag the effect on again. Because I'm not holding Alt or option, this is going to replace the existing color effect and I can go in now and maybe I'll make a more subtle adjustment, increase the contrast and the brightness of the effect.
