Autosyncing picture and sound

- It's common to record location sound separately from your main camera, and then to merge the camera video with the separate audio. Somehow, when you do this, you've got to synchronize the images in the video with the audio, and my best advice on this subject is to ensure that somehow, if you possibly can, you get literally any kind of audio on camera. As long as you have something that resembles the main audio, it'll be much easier for you to identify what's going on and match up the audio in post. Media Composer offers a couple of approaches to merging your video and audio, and the first one I want to take a look at is automatic, using the audio to synchronize your video with the sound automatically. I'm going to make a new bin, I'm going to right-click and choose New Bin, and I'm going to call this Synced Clips.
