- At the final stages of working on a project, it's quite possible you'll want to archive the project, just in case you need to pull it out later and work on it again. And there are two critical components to your backup of a project. And again, I'm presuming here that you do want to back it up, you might be done and just want to delete everything and get rid of it, but you need both of these critical components for the backup to be meaningful. One is the bins in your project. And in fact, you kind of only really need your sequences bin because remember, each sequence contains a full copy of any associated master clips. You might well have an effects bin that you have some effect templates in, and it might be useful to back those up too, but if those effects have been used in the sequence, you've kind of got those already too.
