- [Instructor] Another way that you can use the Command Palette is to assign any menu option to a button just as you can assign any button to a button placeholder. I'm going to go to the Tools Menu and go back into the Command Palette. And this time I'm going to choose Menu to Button reassignment mode. Choosing these modes in the Command Palette is really impactful in Media Composer, because if you're an active Palette mode, this just becomes a list of buttons that you can use any way you want. But if you're in button to button reassignment or menu to button reassignment modes the whole interface will behave differently. So do keep an eye out for whether you have the Command Palette on screen. If Media Composer doesn't seem to be behaving as you expect. Now, I'm in this mode, Menu to Button reassignment mode.
