- Time warp effects are a kind of an advanced form of motion effect. And before we get into configuring them, let's just compare the two types of effects. I've got the clip that I used the fit to fill edit on right here. And I've got the original version of the clip after it, in this sequence. I'm going to go to my effect palette and up in this search box I'll start typing time warp. And there's our effects. I'll drag this onto the clip in the sequence. If I now go into effect mode, it looks like the controls are relatively simple. But I can click to expand these controls out and display a graph that allows me to perform precise key frame adjustments. So that the speed increases and decreases over time. This is something that's not possible with a motion effect. Which will always have a flat, consistent playback speed. Another difference is the type of menu.
