Comparing motion effects and Timewarp effects
- [Narrator] Time Warp effects are an advanced form of motion effect. Before we get into configuring them, let's compare the two types of effects. I've got the clip that I used the Fit-To-Fill edit on right here and I've got the original version of the clip after it in this sequence. I'm going to go to my effect palette and up in this search box I'll start typing "Time Warp" and there's our effect. I'll drag this onto the clip in the sequence. If I now go into effect mode, it looks like the controls are relatively simple, but I can click to expand these controls out and display a graph that allows me to perform precise keyframe adjustments so that the speed increases and decreases over time. This is something that's not possible with a motion effect, which will always have a flat, consistent playback speed.
