Create a 4K project
- [Instructor] If you downloaded the assets associated with this course to your computer and you followed the steps I showed you in the earlier lesson, you'll have put a folder called Project Files somewhere on your machine. For me, I've put it on my media drive, which here on Windows is displayed as the D Drive. I'm going to use that folder to manage my projects throughout the lessons in this course. So go back to Media Composer, notice that I've got the external option selected for the location of my projects, and here you can see that path is displayed. It's D if you're on Windows, on macOS you'll have the drive name and then the Projects Files folder that I selected. To browse to an external location, as distinct from the private or shared built in locations, just click the folder icon here and select project window and browse to the folder you want.
