- [Instructor] Creating a multilayer effect in Media Composer is just a question of adding more layers and applying effects to them. In the timeline window here, I'm going to right click and choose New, Video track. I'm going to patch to my video three track and I'm going to select the clip I added to the sequence before and press the T key to mark that section of the timeline. Of course, this enables my video two track again, so I'll just turn that off and I'm ready to add a new clip.
