Creating a new sequence
- [Instructor] For this tutorial, I'm using a new project called preparing the timeline for editing. I've got it selected in the select project window and I'm clicking okay. And this is based on a continuation of our jacuzzi project. So we've got our scene six and seven and music bins. We also have a sequences bin that we haven't yet used. I'm going to create a new sequence for this project. And it's pretty easy to do. I'm going to right click and choose new sequence. I'm going to call this master sequence. So it's easy to locate. You'll notice that when I created the new sequence, the only option I was given was to name it. I can't specify any parameters for the sequence. I can't set the frame rates or the image resolution or anything at all. And that's because in media composer, all of those settings are defined in the project format.
