Creating sub-sequences

- [Instructor] If you're working on a longer, more complex sequence, it's possible that partway through the process, you'll decide that you'd like to separate off part of the sequence for either organizational purposes, or perhaps even for collaborative purposes. And you could achieve that by duplicating a sequence in a bin and then removing the parts that you don't need. But there's actually a shortcut for that in Media Composer and it's called sub sequences, or sub sequencing. To demonstrate this, I've got my sequence open in the timeline window, and I'm going to mark a section. Let's say this opening section, I think it needs some work. So I'm going to hold Control or Command to snap to this edit. I'm going to mark an out point with the O key. And then I'll put my playhead at the beginning of the sequence and use the I key to mark an in point. So I've identified the region that I want. I'm going to open up this Exercises…
