Creating a user profile
- [Presenter] It's pretty straightforward to work with multiple user profiles in Avid Media Composer, partly because they are stored as files that you can move between machines and back up and transfer quite easily. The user settings are pretty important because they change a lot about the way media composer functions. And so you'll want to get into the habit of creating a backup of your user settings if you're happy with them. Here on the select project window, right at the top, we've got the option to choose from between the available installed user profiles. And right now the only one available is Maxim. That's the name of the user logged into the operating system. So I'm going to create a new user profile and I'll call this editor and I'll click OK. I'm getting a notification about my keyboard settings. And you might find this pops up, particularly if you're somewhere outside of the United States. Avid Media…
