- [Instructor] Before we get into fine tuning our spectramatte effect, there's one really obvious issue with our footage, and it's this fan on the edge of the screen. It's really common when you're setting up a green screen effect for the edges of the screen not to have the green. Perhaps you're using a pop-up green screen, or there's some kind of piece of equipment in shot. As long as your subject never walks over to that part of the screen, it's pretty easy to remove those elements, using an option inside the spectramatte effect. I'm going to scroll down to the bottom of the list here, and expand our crop controls. I'll scroll down a little more to reveal them. Here, we've got a classic top-bottom-left-right set of crop controls. I'm going to take the right crop control, and drag over, until we lose the fan. If I go too far, we're going to start to lose our subject. So, the trick is to just lose the part of the frame…
