- As we're going to begin to get into some more advanced workflows in Media Composer, there are a couple of changes I want to make to the interface. First is, I'm going to add a but more detail and a few more controls to the composer window. I'm going to right click in the middle of the composer window and I'm going to chose the composer settings. In this view under the window category, I'm going to select always display two rows of data and I'm going to select two rows of buttons. I'll click okay. Let's just resize a little to refresh the display and here we've now got a whole load of extra buttons available for us to work in the composer window. Note where we've got this play into out button, which of course we could map to a key, but it's pretty handy having it on screen. And we've got the step backward and forward eight frames buttons.
