- [Instructor] We explored the relinking process earlier on, reconnecting media that may or may not have gone offline that's associated with master clips where you've ingested the media, it's inside the Avid Media file's folder, and we've looked at going into our linked media and choosing to relink to files. These two processes are pretty straightforward. But sometimes you'll find with content in your Avid Media file's folders, it could be plural because you might have more than one drive, you might find that Media Composer just doesn't find the offline files. And if that happens, you can go into your Avid Media file's folder and you'll find inside each of these numbered directories, there's a PMR and an MDB file. These are the database files that Media Composer uses to manage its media, and although usually you'll find that it updates dynamically as you add and remove content in these directories, just occasionally you might find it doesn't work out and you need Media Composer to…
