- [Instructor] As well as viewing the multiple effects in the effect editor, you can look inside of effect containers that you have in the timeline window. I'm going to zoom in a little bit here, so we can see this more clearly. It appears in the timeline window. I've got my 7, 33, 2 to clip, and there's an effect icon on it. But what's really happening is I'm looking at that clip, if you like through the window, or through the filter of that resize effect. And the mask effect isn't visible at all, but it's definitely there. We know because we're seeing the result in the composer window. So there are a couple of ways to display the contents of nested effects in the timeline window in Media Composer. And the first is to use these two buttons that we haven't yet touched on really in this course, step in and step out. These two buttons allow you to step inside of a container in the timeline window.
