Dragging options
- The first thing we're going to do, working with clip segments rather than specifically in and out points, is drag clips into our sequence from the source monitor or from a bin. And there are a couple of settings that will change the way in which we do this. So I've got my timeline window active, and I'm going to press my shortcut, Command or Control + Equals, to go into the timeline settings. And this time, I'm going to go to the display settings. And there are a couple of things here that are really important. The first one is display during segment drag, and this is on none right now. And so I'm going to take this clip in the source monitor and let's just drag this down into my sequence. I'm not releasing the mouse button and you can see as I drag this, I'm getting...
