- [Instructor] Until now, we have accessed effect mode by clicking on the effect mode button in the timeline window. Or ofcourse by going to the tools menu and choosing the effect editor which has pretty much the same effect. But now that we are working on segment effect, perhaps its time to finally make use of our workspaces. we've been using the edit work space until now. There is a dedicated effect workspace. So am going to click on that entry and just to be sure I've got the standard default layout, am going to click on the little menu that pops up and am going to choose restore current to default. I'll just click OK on the confirmation message. This gives us access to items that we've seen before, but now everything is laid out conveniently for our effects work.
