Expert render

- [Instructor] If you're working with multiple layers of media on the timeline, with multiple effects, and the timeline's dropping frames during playback, you're probably going to want to render. But, you're going to want to render as little as possible, if you're just trying to get a preview at full frame rate. One way of achieving this, is to select all of your tracks, and go to the Timeline menu. And instead of choosing Render, and Render at Position, which will just render all of the effects, and it'll definitely give you realtime playback, but you might be rendering effects that are not required for that realtime playback. You can choose Expert Render instead. And if you have in and out marks, you can apply an Expert Render to just a region of the timeline. Expert Render looks at your stack of effects, and identifies what needs to render, to give you full frame playback, and what can be allowed to run in realtime, to still give you that playback performance.
