- [Narrator] In the last lesson, we looked at exporting a file directly from Media Composer. But there are other options, I'm not going to go into a huge amount of detail about these. But I'd just like to show you the menu here under file, under output, the option to form a digital cut is grayed out because I don't have a video deck connected. Media Composer has advanced controls for device control and can insert, edit, or assembly edit, or whichever form you need onto linear tape. And if that's your delivery workflow, look up in the help files and you'll see the options that should be familiar to you already to output. AMA file export allows you to export to a number of industry standard file and metadata schemers. AS 11 for example is well established for broadcast TV distribution. You'll notice that this export allows you to specify specific metadata that's used for the AS 11 standard.
