Exporting and importing user profiles

- [Instructor] For this tutorial, I'm using a new project called Quick Editing Tools. You can copy and paste user profiles in your operating system, but you can also export or import user profiles right inside Media Composer. I'm going to go to the File menu and choose settings and here I'm working with my new editor user profile. I'm going to click Export User or User Profile. We're not using a shared user profile in a network environment, so I'm going to choose standard and I'm going to click to choose a location. And I'll pick this MC110 Assets folder that we've already got and click Okay. This comes up as my location and I'll click Okay. And here's the contents of that folder, here's my new editor, and you can see that the folder contains really just an XML file and an AVE file. You could copy this folder into your Avid user's folder, but you can also simply import that by clicking on the User Profile menu in…
