Fast-forward and rewind
- [Instructor] At the bottom of both of the monitors in the Composer window, there are Rewind and Fast Forward buttons, just here and here, and they're a little bit strange because they don't actually fast forward or rewind playback, which I think is naturally what you would expect them to do. What these button actually do, is jump between, let's say sections of interest, or areas of interest, either in the clips or in your Timeline, in your sequence. Remember, this bar along the bottom of the program monitor really represents the sequence. If I have my Timeline window active, for example, I can click to jump between the ends of clips. Naturally, what's happening here, is I'm jumping between the first frames of each of these clips, and the clips that we're jumping between are the ones on the selected track, in this case, I've just got the Video 2 track selected. If I turn on Video 1 as well, now Media Composer isn't quite sure what to do. It's jumping all the way between one end of…
