Find Bin
- [Instructor] Another incredibly useful way to locate your media once you get into the body of editing a sequence is Find Bin. That's this button at the bottom left corner of the record monitor or the source monitor. And these two operate in slightly different ways. Here, in the record monitor, if I click on Find Bin, Media Composer will display the sequence in the current bin that it's stored in but it won't display the clip. If I want to display the clip, I can use my match frame trick first of all. So I'm going to hold Alt, here on Windows, or this would be Option on MacOS, and I'm going to click Match Frame. And then, from within the source monitor, I can click Find Bin. And this will locate that clip within the bin. In fact, if I close this bin so we can't see the contents of it in the bin container, still now, I can click on this Find Bin button and Media Composer will open a floating instance of this bin in its…
