Floating and docking windows

- [Illustrator] Media Composer allows you a lot of flexibility when it comes to arranging the interface. And one way in particular deserves a little bit of extra attention because it can be perhaps a little confusing if you're not familiar with the way the interface updates and that's floating and docking pallets or windows or tools as they're called at different times in different menus. Just to illustrate this, I'm going to start off with the effect pallet, which is right here by default docked in with the bins container. This looks like it's part of the same window, but it's actually two windows docked together. And you can see their names in this vertical strip just as there's a name for the composer window and the timeline window. If I drag this name away and avoid these green highlights that appear in the interface, I get a floating window. And if you've got multiple monitors, it's easy to reposition these windows…
