Import an image sequence

- [Instructor] Media Composer supports a wide range of still image formats, and there's just a couple of issues you need to make sure you take into account before you import them. I'm going to run over those issues and then I'm going to show you how to import an image sequence. First of all, there's a couple of options we need to look at. Here in the settings in my project window, I've got an Import option, and we've got some options here relating specifically to images. First of all, we've got the option to say, don't change anything; the media that I'm about to import already matches my current project format. Just imagine the word project written in here in this option. So don't change anything. If you enable the option to crop or pad for DV scan line difference, this is because NTSC DV footage, not that people are using DV very often these days, is six pixels short in the vertical axis, and so, Media Composer can compensate for that and pad out to adjust the image.
