- [Narrator] In our current sequence, which is this scene seven version one sequence, we have a number of clips with linked audio and some without. This shot, for example, 6_38_2, has no audio associated with it in the sequence. But this shot before it does. And Media Composer knows that this piece of audio originally arrived with this video. It's sync sound. And so, automatically, if you select one of these clips, the reciprocal clip is also selected. In fact, the reason this occurs is because of this button right here. This is the linked selection toggle right at the top of the timeline window. If I turn this toggle off, now when I click on any of these segments, they are selected independently. If I toggle the option back on and deselect by just clicking on the background of the timeline window, I can still override it by holding alt in Windows or option in Mac OS.
