- [Instructor] Media Composer allows you to lock entire tracks to prevent you accidentally making changes to the content. Process is pretty straight forward. It's based on your selected tracks on the right side, the record side, of the track header on the left of the timeline window. Just to illustrate this, let's take this shot I have loading up on video three track. I'm going to deselect the other tracks in the timeline window and I'm going to right click. You could actually right click almost anywhere in the timeline window. You can right click on the track header. It's probably easier because you can see the options immediately, or you can right click on the background of the timeline window. You have a longer menu, but you have the same lock and unlock track options. I'm going to choose lock track. And I think really seems to happen, except if you look very closely, the sync lock has been replaced…
