- [Instructor] For this tutorial, I am using a new project called Rendering Effects. If you really load up a stack of clips to play all at the same time, or multiple effects, it's possible that the amount of work required to both play the original media, and display the results of the effects could be too much for your system. In that situation, Media Composer displays red lines in the Time Code Track to indicate the type of strain that's occurring. Whether it's just too much for the CPU to perform, or too much for your drives for example. Just to illustrate this, I'm going to strain this system, I'm going to select these three clips in my Rendering Effects Sequence, this is in the Student Lesson Sequences Bin. I'm going to copy them, move my playhead to the end of the sequence, and paste with control or command + V. And now, I'm going to grab these extra copies, I'm lassoing around them, and, let's just not get the filler…
