- [Instructor] For this tutorial, I'm using a new project called Mixing Sequence Audio. Media Composer offers comprehensive audio tools to work on your mix and broadly speaking, there are three phases you're likely to go through. You'll use Clip Gain to apply overall level adjustments to clips and Audio Crossfades to smooth audio edits. And this helps to achieve consistency in the mix, reducing distractions for the audience. To apply those gain adjustments you might well go into the tools menu and bring up the audio mixer. You can use this tool to adjust clips in the source monitor and in your sequences. And of course you can apply quick transitions right inside the timeline window. You'll also apply audio keyframes to fine tune levels over time. And these keyframes can be used to add impact to your soundtrack at specific moments or to improve the mix. We'll be looking at more advanced uses for keyframes later on in our…
