Performing a fit to fill edit
- [Instructor] Let's take a look at one further way to create a Motion Effect and this time a way that's going to allow us to specify the duration automatically. I'm going to to work this time with this clip around about the middle of the sequence. Again I'll hold alt or option to match frame to open the original clip in the source monitor. I'm going to map a new button as well, I'm going to the tools menu and into the Command Palette and this time I'm interested in the edit section of the Command Palette. I'm going to take this Fit to Fill button and I'm going to drag this under my source monitor, I'm in the button to button re-assignment mode and let's just close the Command Palette. If you specify an in and an out point in the source monitor when you create a motion effect, you'll just get the section of the clip that you've marked included in the motion effect. So Media Composer is tracking the duration of the section…
