Recovering lost work

- [Instructor] One of the underlying foundations of the technology that drives Avid Media Composer is deceptively simple. It's the idea that each bin should be its own file in your storage system. Initially, it doesn't seem that important because, surely, you're working inside your project most of the time, and all of your bins are listed. But it turns out that having a separate file for each bin is really useful when it comes to sharing work and backing up your work. If you look in the Bin Settings, which I'll just jump into now by pressing Control Equals, that's Command Equals on macOS. You have options to specify how often bins will be saved, and it's each individual bin that's backed up individually when you're specifying the maximum number of files in the Attic. So what happens if you do have an issue with a bin, and you realize that you're going to need to restore a copy of it from the Attic? Let go through…
