Remove sections of a sequence
- [Man] Now that we have looked at adding content to sequences using the splicing and overwrite mode should be pretty easy to work out removing things using the same modes, and these are called "extract" and "lift." I'm in a new sequence here, called "remove content," pretty easy to find in our sequences bin. And this is just a continuation of our overwriting exercise. There are a couple ways of removing clips and we'll get to working with clips as segments very soon. Beforehand, I want to start out by continuing with using in and out marks. So, on the timeline here, I'm going to put an in mark, let's say, around the beginning of this shot. I'm going to hold down cmd and I'm going to click and drag to the first frame of this clip and I'm going to press I for "in," and then I want to catch the last frame, in fact, let me catch the last frame of this clip right here.
