Restoring master clips to a bin from the Media tool

- [Instructor] The media tool stores information about master clips with the media files. And that means you can recreate master clips by locating the media files associated with them. I'm going to go to the tools menu, and I'm going to choose media tool. And here's the media tool on the left but in the middle of the screen, we have the media tool display option, on the left we can choose our drives. And I know that all of my media is on the media drive and on the right, you can specify any number of projects that you want to locate the media for. It's important to note that the media database that Avid uses, associates only the original project that was used to ingest the media with the media file. So if you've created new projects and you've imported that media into those other projects, later you won't see the media associated with those other projects.
