- [Instructor] Once you've found the shots that you want and put them into a basic sequence, you're going to want to finesse the timings of the cuts, and of course that's where Trim Mode comes in. I want to just look at some of the more advanced Trim Mode features, and quickly skim the options that we have there. I've got both of my Trim Mode smart tools selected here, so I'm going to click on a cut, and that's going to take me straight into Trim Mode. You'll notice that, as is so often the case in Media Composer, you'll need to choose both time and a space, and here I've got the time selected, I've got the right cut, but I haven't got audio 1 turned on. So I'm going to turn on my audio track, and now I've got trim rollers on both the video and audio parts of these clips. Notice that the clip to the left of this cut has no audio.
